Cannulae optimized for MICS approaches

The number of procedures using Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery (MICS) techniques continues to grow, and so does our cannulae offering in this important niche.

Developed to meet the diverse minimally invasive and femoral approaches, our high performance MICS cannulae offer ease of insertion, a clear surgical view and superior hemodynamics—a winning trio of features that can make a real impact on improving patient outcomes.

Our product highlights page was recently updated with details about our portfolio of available MICS cannulae. This includes Easy Flow, with its unique conical design for easy direct and femoral cannulation and dispersion tip for optimal flow dynamics in a small size. You will also find venous femoral cannulae suitable for all MICS surgery.

These combine a small profile with optimal venous drainage in the inferior and superior vena cava without interfering with the atrium. Rounding out the portfolio, you will find cardioplegia cannula, as well as an extensive line of vents and catheters for direct and indirect left ventricle decompression.
Our updated product brochure highlights all of the exciting features and benefits of our MICS cannulae line, and is available to download.
In addition, we have two new instructional videos demonstrating the use of our cannulae in MICS procedures. One demonstrates the use of direct aortic and direct venous cannulation during an AVR with mini-sternotomy approach; the second demonstrates direct arterial and femoral venous
cannulation with our dual-stage RAP venous femoral cannula during AVR.
